What do you think of Muslims having "wife beating etiquette's" ?

I m a Muslim lady, unfortunately what you are saying is not completely wrong, some Imams are shitheads and would say anything they want. However the religion itself and the Prophet himself never dictated or tolerated even the slightest disrespect to the wife, even hitting the children is not allowed in Islam. However you will find Imams who support bad things but that should not mean anything. Obviously God gave us individual brains so there is no need to always listen to Imams, and like there are shitty teachers and professors, why would it be a surprise to find shitty Imams?!
