Is this a key logger?

well today i downloaded soemthing and about 10 minutes after that a pop up showed and this guy commanded me to tell him my passes and stuff so i ignored it and shut down and i started it back up then i ran malwarebytes.. got rid of stuff its been about an hour and so far nothing has happened so what do u think this was and is this over?? am i safe??
