Can I own trees on someone else's land without being on the deed for the property?

Is it possible for me to own specific trees on someone else's property and then collect income if those trees are cut down and sold to a logger? What has to take place for some trees on person A's land to belong to me? Is there anything fraudulent if a property owner gives away/gifts the trees to me and doesn't make any changes to the deed and I claim all the income if they are sold to a logger/mill?
